tpc at Scottsdale
The Stadium Course is set in the Sonoran Desert with
the beautiful McDowell Mountains as a backdrop. It is annually ranked
among the best public courses in the country, including a 1999 Golf Magazine
Top 100 rank of 3. This course can be quite a challenge because of the
mounds and bunkers strategically placed throughout its design. It has
a desert ambiance, but the natural terrain doesn't come into play.
A more typical target layout, the Desert Course is shorter
but tighter than its big sister, with errant shots likely to trickle into
desert shrub.
