Johnson Ranch Golf Club is a challenging par 72 championship course set
at the base of the San Tan Mountains. The front side is a classic desert
golf experience while the back nine plays in and through the majestic,
cactus filled mountainside.
The par-72 championship course is nothing short of an oportunity that`s
well worth the price of admission - and at 7,142 yards, it`s nothing short,
period.
Nestled at the base of the adjacent San Tan Mountains, this target layout
is reminiscent of some of the better privat and public courses, for which
the Valley has come to be known.
For all the course`s 137 slope rating suggests, Johnson Ranch has a surprisingly
softer side. The front nine boasts, lush, wide open fairways and generous
landing areas, well suited for the player that likes to live dangerously,
off the tee.
The back nine winds through the base of the San Tan Mountains with strategically
placed bunkers and undulating greens.
