Golf Club, the latest Ted Robinson design, promises to be
one of the most talked about courses in the Las Vegas area.
The par-72 course, located in Henderson, features 68 white-sand
bunkers and enough water to challenge even the best golfers.
It is one of the newest courses on the Las Vegas golf scene
and is sure to be one of the most talked about.
The final hole of each nine leaves a lasting impression. The 9th,
a dogleg-left par 4, has water on the left side and two bunkers
on the right -- and that's just off the drive. The green is guarded
by water in the front, on the left and behind the green, as well
as bunkers on the right. The grand finale, the 18th, is one of the
most demanding holes around the Vegas Valley. A good tee shot on
this 440-yard hole plays into a prevailing breeze, leaving a mid-
to-long-iron shot into an island green. A waterfall to the left
offers a calming view, but the green itself is intimidating. Many
players are still forced to lay up with their second shot. Four
here is a great way to end the round.
