Facilities/Scorecards

Palm Valley Golf Course

Palm Valley Golf CourseA Sun City Community golf course designed by Billy Casper and Greg Nash. Palm Valley is well manicured and offers fantastic views throughout the round. Palm Valley is a good value for an enjoyable golf course. 20-25 minutes from the Las Vegas strip. Soft spikes are required.

Palm Valley Golf Club is the sister course to Highland Falls, also located in Sun City Summerlin. This facility features a manageable layout with the player in mind who may be a bit more price sensitive. Similar to Highland Falls, the market for this course is local, with an emphasis on the retirement community that makes up Sun City. That being said, you can expect a very good round of golf at rates well below comparable courses the market to the resort players.

The course is generally in very good shape, with wide fairways and big greens that allow the player to score well. Measuring 6,849 yards from the back tees with a slope of 127, it's easy to see why this course is popular among the locals -- great location, very good course conditions, and a player friendly layout that offers few surprises. Watch out for the water on seven holes, however, and make sure you avoid the 80 bunkers.
